WEBSITES

A small start up site from scratch or a large ecommerce store, we've got you! Let's get together in person, via phone or online to discuss your project brief. From this meeting we can get to know your business, establish what is required, what information you have already, and what needs to be created. From this point we can build a map of how the website will be structured, what pages are needed and what content we need for those pages.

Handy hint: As with all marketing companies, the more information and assets you can provide, the cheaper your bill and the quicker the process. So if you want to save the bucks, the best way is to write as much as you can about your business. Even if it's a million dot points. We can turn it into content gold. Check out our pricing page for a guide to costs.

THE PROCESS

1. Briefing - Our initial meeting where we discuss your business needs and goals, get to know your business, and what pages and features will be needed for the site. It is worth noting that the more information you can provide about your business and the more content you can offer, the quicker, easier, and therefore cheaper your site will be.

2. Navigational draft - We will prototype a sitemap, showing which pages are required. This will be used to make sure we have all the required pages, their features and discuss content availability for each page. This is used for accurate quoting.

3. Acceptance of quote and deposit of 40% of total.

4. Design work starts. Here we create the look and feel and add it to the drafted wireframe that you have approved in step 2. We also work with you to create a keyword plan here for use in content, SEO, future online advertising and social media.

5. Presentation of Draft. This allows you time to have your staff pick out any errors in grammar and make any final tweeks. We allow 2 rounds of changes within the scope. Edits outside of the brief and beyond 2 rounds of changes will incur further costs. It's best to save up as many edits as you can and send together so we can edit in bulk and to reduce back and forth.

6. Testing and troubleshooting. No website works perfectly the first time. In this stage we try our best to break your website. (not really) We look for glitches and test on multiple platforms including tablets, phones, desktop computers and laptops using as many different operating systems as we can. We also encourage you to do the same with your resources so that we are finding issues and not your clients. That would be embarrassing.

7. SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) We do this along the way but we dive a little deeper here, reviewing the content and ensuring that each page is displaying how it should on google as well as giving your site the best opportunity to rank well for your chosen search terms. Planning for search keywords/phrases/terms happens earlier around stage 4. At this stage, we double check that your SEO reflects your Keyword plan.

8. Upload and delivery to the world. Yes, we then must test again to ensure that the live version is working how it should be for any last minute tweaks to the back end of your site.
